Off to the doctor today...hoping for some help and maybe a nap!

Friday, October 18, 2013

I decided to head back to see my doctor today to regulate my medications. Something just isn't right. I'm just barely holding it all together. Of course, lack of sleep doesn't help anything!

Last night my sweet little boy woke up at 3:30am crying. I finally got him settled again around 4:20am. Which meant I laid in bed and fell asleep about 5 minutes before my alarm went off. To say the least, I didn't work out this morning.

Ironically, I got to work about 10 minutes early - rolling in at the same time my CEO came in. He was surprised to see me here so early. Of course, the other day he noticed I was here early and his comment was..."Early to bed, Early to rise!".

This coming from an unmarried man with no kids. I'd love for him to catch a glimpse of my evenings and mornings. Apparently, he thinks I just have a hard time getting up because I'm apparently staying up too late goofing off. HA!

OH well...hopefully, my doctor can help me out with my moodiness. I may even try for a note to take the afternoon off to rest. A few nights in a row of sleep interruptions is making me crazy!

You might talk to your doctor about Melatonin. I have Fibromyalgia and my Rheumatologist advised me to try it. Wow it sure works for me. I take 3 mg tab at night and it helps me to sleep through the night. It is a natural product that our bodies sometimes do not make enough of. Check with your dr as it is vital for you to get enough sleep so that you can take proper care of you and your little one.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers and hope you are able to get the help you seek and need.

Try to think positive my friend. I know how hard it can be. I have a teen at home and he is challenged by many things. I also know what it is like to go with out sleep.

    Don't give up on yourself.
