What are you doing under there?

Last weekend I was in the mood for something funny and ran across a video by Ken Davis. I've never heard him for more than 30 seconds (he does a daily radio blurb). Very funny and I didn't have to be embarrassed to watch in front of my daughter. He is 65, has lost over 100 pounds in the last few years, and made a choice to really live for his remaining years. He has some very funny stories, and is also very inspriational.
It came at a good time. It's easy to feel sorry for myself, and I've been lately. It's hard to be fully alive when you're always looking down. Like my Spark Friend Kitty, it's time to remember who I am and live the life I have.
One morning a man ran across a friend and asked how things were. The friend replied "OK, under the circumstances". The man looked at him for a second and said "Well, Friend. What are you doing under there?"
I don't have to be "under" my circumstances. I can choose to overcome them and thrive. Or, as Ken Davis would say, "Lighten up...and LIVE!"
