First stop this morning...the doctor. I left my "sample" for the nutritionist and was then whisked off to the doc who helps with my knee. It was tired today, but nothing like I've had in the past. I mentioned to him a spot on my right foot that hurt randomly and it was a pressure point. For me it was tied to my thyroid so he worked his "magic" for a time. Will go back next week after all so he can check on this. Then I headed to see the nutrition doc to go over my lab report and found that it was perfect. It showed that my body is doing what it is supposed to and that I am doing what I'm supposed to. Yeah!

Once home we got some school accomplished and then I took Isaac to his counseling appointment. While he was with his counselor I met with Maegann's to tell her that she was taking a break. This break will probably be permanent, but can always get her back on the list if needed. Then I met with Isaac's guy after their session and found out that Isaac is being totally deceptive with him. He is telling him that he is doing things that are not true and when asked about his anger he told him that he hasn't been getting angry for a long time. Can we say...try yesterday? I had slipped the counselor a note about the anger being very close to the surface and more often. I left with a feeling that this is another activity that needs to come to an end. Tim and I need to discuss again after the kids are in bed.

Spent time this afternoon researching health insurance and haven't accomplished anything. Ours is going up about $200 in January which is ridiculous. Naturally I couldn't even get onto the new "affordable healthcare" sites to at least see what they are offering.

It was off to bible study after supper and that was a fun time. Now we are watching our tape of Biggest Loser and even though it seems like they are on super speed now that they have one hour instead of two, I actually like it because things aren't so drawn out. Glad they've spent time really revamping the show.

Tomorrow will be busy day. We have a field trip to the pumpkin patch with co-op at 11, going to Build-a-Bear afterwards (probably around 1:00) and then Isaac has group therapy at 3.

Your days seem very busy too - full of positive effort for your good and that of your family. Trudge on. There is a Light at the end of the tunnel and we know Who that is.

I'll keep you & yours in my prayers.

It generally takes boys a little longer than girls to really open up to counselors. If your hubby is up to it, perhaps he can spend some bonding time with your son and teach him to verbally communicate more. Can they play ball together? I've noticed that boys talk more after they've engaged in some physical activity with the adult.

Janet - glad everything is going in the right direction for you - it does sound like it is time for both kids to take a break from therapy. I remember years ago when my younger brothr was in therapy and he just told them what they wanted to hear. Sounds like issaac is doing that.

Glad to hear all the appointments went well yesterday. Sorry to hear about Isaac's deception. Hopefully you can get that all figured out.

I know what you mean about Biggest Loser. I'm bummed that it's only an hour, but it didn't seem as drawn out. I still think it will be a good season!

    Have a great Thursday!

It does sound like your tomorrow will be fun.

I am wondering if Isaac is even being honest with himself.
