Yes, I did it. I ran a 5K. Well actually it wasn't the full 3.1 miles due to the race course being a little short. But I did it and I felt great. (actually I was a little hungover from the wine tasting at my college reunion the night before) And as predicted I'm hooked. My mom and some derby teammates of mine have selected the Mustache Dache in Nov. to be the next 5k. We didn't get timed so I don't have a time to post (or beat) so my goal is to NOT drink before the race and try not to stop as much. Also, I plan on being ALL decked out in stache-wear as I am totally into mustaches. I can't wait!

Burp-toberfest has been pretty good. Honestly, I can bang out 20-40/day with no trouble and I'm right on track to hit 1000 this month. So far i've done 610 and have 390 to go. I've been trying to mix in a few push-ups here and there but mostly just trying to do them as fast as possible.
Intermittent Fasting: today is my second fast day this week. So far it has been kind of challenging to keep my mind off food on my fast days. And coordinating my workout has been interesting becuase when I try to workout the morning after a fast day I have a LOT less energy. But I have noticed that my appetite on non-fasting days is smaller and my clothes seem to fit better. The scale hasn't really moved dramatically but I'm willing to keep at it. I just wonder if I need to be eating differently on my non-fasting days... I'll just have to keep experimenting. Progress is progress no matter how slow.
