Day 21 Intermittent Fasting (IF) Journal

entry for Oct 15, 2013

Super-busy day as anticipated, but productive. I am on track to get a large order from a municipal customer for steam boiler automated blow-down equipment and that means a large commission! Woohoo! (I am a chemist currently working in the commercial water treatment sector (process water, not drinking water.) Today will be busy too. I finished my last meal at 5PM the night before and ate my 1st meal at 8 AM, a 15 hr IF. I was not really hungry, but I ate in anticipation of possibly not being able to eat for many hours. I got some more good food for dinner today, and ate more than I should have, 2233 calories. For the 1st time in 14 days, I did no exercise at all! By the time my husband got home from the health club, it was late, and I was just too tired and needed to prepare for my work day today.

Technically, no, it doesn't matter what you eat. But, obviously, if you eat mostly healthy foods with a balance of carbs, proteins, and fats, you will get better results and won't be hungry. I have yet to feel hungry. But then, my calories are a bit high. On my next adventure, I will probably keep the IF but limit calories. Exercise is crucial too!

No, I usually eat 2 real meals and often a small snack. Sometimes I graze, but I prefer a real meal.

Glad to see another blogger doing IF. I am 2nd week into ADMF and am doing good. Not starving or feeling deprived. I opted for a 4/3 start to get some weight off and will probably head towards 5/2 eventually. Sorry you missed your exercise day! I really miss it when I can't go, like last night and tonight.
