This month has been a little bit tough. I can't believe we are half way through October and my scale has not moved down. I know that I have been consuming too many calories on the weekend so gotta get that straight.

On a better note, I did complete my very first 5K Mud Run. It was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had, and I cannot wait to do it again next year. I am so lucky to be surrounded by so many great woman and of course my two daughters. I only skipped one obstacle that was just too scary for me to handle. Otherwise, I conquered the other 12.

My next blog will be on November 1st and I know I will have some pounds that I have lost to report. I have not purchased any Halloween candy yet...I'm sticking to my guns on that one!!

    The Mud Runs look so fun. I think there is one near me in the spring. By that time i should be up for it, hopefully having lost a bit more weight and be able to keep up with an increased level of fitness. going to look it up and start planning now.
