Day 20 Intermittent Fasting (IF) Journal

Stopped eating at 7:30 PM last night and had my first meal at 10:30 AM, 15 hrs IF. I was markedly less hungry today and ate 1950 cal and burned 570 calories: walking 1.1 mi 20 min (easy) + elliptical (hard) 30 min + weight training lower body 10 exercises with no rest between sets 20 min (hard) + 60 min swimming (easy). I was motivated to strength train upper body too but my son caused a 60-lb solid wood object to fall onto my elbow from a height of 3 feet or so. The pain was intense-- still is! It was like the cartoons where the character just sees stars! I iced it right away and fortunately had some pain medication and anti-inflammatories handy. It is puffy and a big knot with a purple bruise. It is my right too, which sucks being right handed. I have an appointment to have it looked at by an ortho on Wed at 2:15 PM. I have a flexible work schedule and can leave early Wed. I will be very busy with work tomorrow too and my son will go back to daycare tomorrow. I think it will be good for him, but I expect some initial tears. After work tomorrow, I have a consult about one of my baby teeth that is painful. (I am 41 but I still have 2 baby teeth.) One may need to be replaced with an implant. After that, I am going to the hairdresser. So, tomorrow will be crazy busy, but I am hopeful about getting a PM workout in, at least cardio, something I can do with this bum arm. Yoga is out, definitely.
