This is the time of year we go to the apple orchard every Sunday! Oh how I love to go! Only have two more Sundays in our area before for they close down for the season. sigh. YET...the drive is so worthwhile as the leaves are changing... the sky is a crisp blue as the sun shines. It makes my heart sing!
Naturally, they have caramel apples with nuts or without. I cannot have them for two reasons: 1) my teeth and 2) I am NOT willing to use the points to have one.
Once home, I took the core out of an apple. I then microwave the apple for 90 seconds. Took it out and had sliced up a 2 point chocolate caramel weight watchers bar and put in the middle of my apple where the core once was and microwaved it for an additional 30 seconds.
IT WAS GRAND!
and for TWO POINTS ONLY!
I wasn't negative...I made what I wanted WORK for me....and in the end...it was better on two fronts.....1) it was only TWO points and 2) I got a hint of chocolate with my caramel apple!
NOW...for those that are NOT on weight watchers and don't have the option of the 2 point bars....HELLO? At the grocery store....Smuckers has the bottles in syrup form that will do the trick just fine!
My point is........people tend to be QUICK to be negative and GIVE UP.......they FIGHT the desired end result as opposed to find a way to make it work for them. Sometimes they tend to TRY to bring you down if you LET them.

In reading.....even talking to others.....they are complaining about SPAT ....
I find it odd ..those that don't have it.....seem to complain the most.....they are going by what others may have posted. HOW DO YOU TRULY KNOW?
Others that have one.....I truly believe have NOT figured out how to make theirs work for them.
I too had questions....and when I asked, I asked WHAT WAS I DOING WRONG? ...and not....I AM DISAPPOINTED....it doesn't do this or that.
Some issues are simply resolved on HOW you are wearing your SPAT. Some are that it simply does NOT track your certain event.
If not...then......manually add yours in your tracker.
If the event is unknown event..then hover around it..then reclassify it. Problem solved.
The Fitness activity verses the Fitness workout may throw one into a tail spin...they were not given credit for what they felt they had earned.
I get that. YET.....I have noticed that if I stop ever so slightly, then it does stop giving me my workout minutes till I have reached 10 CONTINUOUS minutes again.
WHAT AN EYE OPENER FOR ME!
and you know what?
IT ISN"T AN ISSUE. It is REALITY!
You can either 1) step it up and work harder in obtaining the goal you wish to see or 2) quit.
Bottom line.....it is called...Adaptation......and what action you decide to take...is really up to you....not only with SPAT...but in LIFE.
