I have a sore arm. I pulled a muscle or tendons or something yesterday. I haven't gone to the doctor, but I may have someone look at it tomorrow if I'm not feeling better. I couldn't sleep last night, because it just hurt too much. I finally ended up sleeping almost all day today. I'm a little discouraged because I haven't exercised since Wednesday. I am feeling guilty! That's silly though. I went out with Ben on Thursday. I hurt myself Friday. I slept today. There's no reason to feel guilty. I exercised 4 times this past week. I'll exercise tomorrow. I'm doing a good job. This is just a minor setback.

    You're absolutely RIGHT. Not being able to exercise because of injury is nothing to be upset about (though I totally understand the disappointment), and certainly nothing to feel guilty about. You have to rest an injury, at least to some extent.

    The last time I hurt my shoulder, I expressed the same dismay here on SP. A friend recommended that I could try one of the lower body chair exercises until my shoulder healed. I don't know if that's something you might want to try or not, but it worked for me, and made me feel like I wasn't losing all that activity momentum.

    Whatever you decide, you're doing GREAT! Can't tell you how much of a lift I get every time I see that wonderful giggly picture of you and your little one. It's just a wonderful picture.

    Get well soon. Rest or recovery days are just as important to weight loss. It also gives your body time to repair itself in case of an injury. Have a good weekend!
