Simple dinner!

Thursday, October 10, 2013

Tonight was a chili dog kinda night. I wanted to have ALL the fixins! I think the only thing I left off was sauerkraut. But they were turkey franks and they were so good! I really want to make some of those pretzel buns for our annual family cookout we have this month. We started it the first year we got married and every October we have everyone in our families invited over to cookout. This year has to be next weekend so it might be a tad cool out. There are usually about 30 people that show up and everyone brings something. This time I am going to make chili and dogs. Then all the fixins that accompany them.
Found another recipe for toffee bars made with graham crackers tonight. I made it to see how it tastes! I will let you know! Don't they look just dreamy?! lol!
Hubby has really been productive these last 2 days he has been off! I love a productive man around the house! Little by little we are getting there!
Have a wonderful evening

Heh, I'd eat those chili dogs for a second breakfast, right now! Yum!
I am overdue to make some cookies (big soft crinkly ginger-orange cookies, by request) for my favorite lifeguards, but have to plan it so that I am on my way to the Y. That way I can get them out of my house before I eat too many.
