Hanging tough at Day 5...

Thursday, October 10, 2013

Calories Consumed: 1187
Fitness Minutes: 20

Today went very well...

I remembered my lunch (and tomorrow's too)!

We had a retirement party for a teacher which included a potluck lunch. There was food everywhere. I brought fresh cut fruit. I had fruit and salad, skipped the croutons and all the other delicious food. I did eat my soup and cottage cheese with it. I skipped the Costco cake too!

I have noticed I am drinking a lot more water. And I am not liking these shorter days. I have been working a lot of hours and not getting home until dark. I am trying to get up earlier to get more fitness minutes in outside, but, truth be told, I love my sleep! Now that I have most if the new software running, I am going to try to shorten my work days a bit.

Thanks for reading! I hope you had a great day too!

We had a Teacher Training PD day with all kinds of goodies, and I did not stick to the fresh fruit. I totally get the long hours too. I got home before 5 pm, and that was a rarity. I choose my sleep over morning fitness too.

Oh, the blessings of being a school administrator! Yeah for weekends!

    emoticon on your great choices!

Good for you. I also am getting really good at skipping the work temptations. Now if I could get better at my late dinner choices...the mind-over-I-give-in problem!
