No dessert challenge - Day 5 and 6

On day 4 I had a piece of cake and a scoop of ice cream at a dinner party. I was going to allow myself dessert on that night, and that is the only dessert I've eaten all week.

Day 5 and 6 have been uneventful. No desserts or sweets or chocolate.

The teaspoon of sugar that I put on my cereal has become too sweet, so I'm going to cut it back to half a teaspoon from now on.

I've been managing my sweet tooth with fruit and the occasional coffee with sweetener.

What a boring challenge to be blogging!

    Ah, but it was an important challenge for you, and probably a good number of people have similar sugar cravings, so in a way perhaps you've been an inspiration to/for them as well as challenging yourself!

    LOL I'm enjoying your journey. Interesting how the teaspoon of sugar is now too sweet. I can't eat presweetened yogurt for that same reason whether it's with artificial or real sugar. (Plus I avoid aspartame/Slenda, etc.--due to headaches and photosensitivity)

    My doctor doesn't even like Sweet 'N Low. I have one packet of raw sugar in my one cup of coffee daily. At first it tasted bitter but now I'm loving it!

    Keep up the good work--as a former "dessert after every meal" girl, you have inspired me to cut back.
