Have Plan, Will Work It

This health journey is actually fun. Last night, I took a few minutes to 'shop' through my low carb cookbooks for a menu plan for the next week. Made my list and enjoyed a nice shopping experience at Publix, busy younguns and all. The colors of these delicious veggies and packaging provides inspiration too. Shopping was a great experience too because of two really nice ladies in the deli section. It was great to go into the kitchen and begin cooking immediately because I had already planned. And the supper?? Oh my goodness! Way better than McDonald's or some freezer meal. This is not diet food. It is simply delicious, healthy food.

Then, my daughter and I took a walk and tremendously enjoyed the fall breeze.

It is so nice to reap the benefits of a little planning. I don't have junk in the house. It's all good stuff and I just need to work the plan. Not a problem since I have done all the thinking on the front end.

    Great job. I spent most of yesterday batch cooking to make the rest of the week, AND THE WEEKEND easier for cooking. :) I agree that it's not DIET food, just good healthy food. I try a new recipe at least once a week. :)
