Hoping that maybe some blogging will help me stay on track. Over the past year, I've backslid a lot; not really a lot, but I have 15-20 pounds to lose, again. 20 pounds might be overboard. I'm going to weigh in tonight, I stepped on today after my workout and seen 163, but I'm not sure that's accurate. Went way overboard this weekend; had a family outing with my Dad and the kids at a pumpkin patch. Aside from the actual number on the scale, my main goal is to get back in my size 8 pants! Right now, I've got some 10, 12, and 14s I'm wearing. I'll say I'm an average 12, so I'd like to lose 2 pant sizes. As I've hit the big 3-0 in 2012, I've noticed my body likes to hold onto weight in my belly : ( not cool. So, I need to get everything under control before it's even harder to lose down the road. Probably not a great idea to try this right before all the holidays, but I need to.
Yesterday I decided I would do the 30 day shred again, since I had such great results the first time. I'm also hoping to do some light jogging, a few miles a week, nothing major. I'm going to follow the Self Drop 10 diet plan. I bought the book a while back and the recipes are great. Basically it's just eating a lot of super foods. 350 breakfast, 450 lunch, 450 dinner, 150 snack and 200 "happy" for anything. I think that's incredibly doable.
I did my first day of the shred today, good workout, got a bit sweaty. Only burned 260 calories or so, last time I did it I would burn about 350. I also went out and jogged until I hit 200 calories. My gps wasn't working so I'm not sure how far I got..probably 1.5 or so. It was only 16 minutes. But, it felt good to get out and do both workouts.
On par to meet my calorie goals today, including some shrimp tacos from my favorite mexican restaurant!
Some interesting news this evening, I got a call from Old Navy for an interview tomorrow. I worked there for seasonal in 2011, it wasn't too bad. I'm not super into it, but when I filled out the app I was very strict with the hours I want. So, I need to make sure to not succumb to the pressure and say I'll work any other hours. If I don't get it, not biggie. Could be cool though, mostly just the money part. I've been working 2 hours in the am 1 or 2 days a week for my friend at her dog grooming business. But, I'm pretty much just cleaning out kennels...not the funnest, but no customers, very laid back and I can just let her know if I can't come in. But, I feel like I want to dress up and interact with people a little more. And ON would be better on a resume I feel.

Other random news, Oct. 31st will be my husband's last day working as an E-7 40 minutes from home...he will then be a WO-1 (WO-2 by Feb. 1) and working 10 minutes away!!!! I'm so ecstatic about it. No traffic, and we'll be able to see an hour more of him each day! It will be much easier for him to make any of our boys' events too. I'm a happy girl. Everything else is going really great. As a refresher...we have three boys. Caden is 11, Brody 9, and Jamey is 4!! They really got big. Caden is 4" away from me and growing a little peach fuzz mustache! Off to Jr. High next year!

Okay, well hope I got everything up to speed. I'm really hoping to write a bit every day or so. It always helps to be able to tell people I don't know anything, lol. Enjoy your night.

Oh, I also went back to school. I'm going to school online, I'm a junior! So, that's interesting.
