Not only am I running my first ever 5K but I also have my 10 year college reunion to go to this weekend. I'm not sure what I'm more nervous for. Probably the 5K.
I've been training (kind of) to run the whole time but I know I won't be able to (since i haven't been able to successfully run the whole 3.1 miles on the treadmill). However I feel confident I will have a decent time. I will certainly finish the race no matter what and that's what really matters anyway, right?... The only difficult training session I've had so far was the morning after a fast day. So I know I have to do my second fast day tomorrow becuase I have to eat on Friday to prepare my bod for the run.
As for the reunion, i'm really only interested in hanging out with my friends, we may even ditch the college sanctioned activities and go off on our own. It should be a blast to catch up with everyone.
I will try to remember to take pictures and post my finishing time for my spark friends.
