Yes! an "UP" day! Rain is out of the area and my balance is back to it's normal wobbly state that I can somewhat function with, at least w/ modifications and rest.
I was able to "nordic walk" (walking w/ my balance poles - not my canes) w/ my friend this morning. It felt so good! We did not do our full 2 miles :(I will have to map track it to figure the exact milage.) So behind on so many things, just have not gotten that done. Just trying to jump back in & get moving maybe not where I was, but moving none the less.
I'm reading a new book: Juicing by Michael T. Murray, N.D. I have a juicer. It came w/ a tiny basic recipe book -3 or 4 recipes. So, then I strted to experiment. Let's just say things went BAAAAD, very, very, very BAAAAD! I was ready to puke. But, I am still intriged by this. So, I need to read and learn more.
Kids have started their USA Club Swimming... WooHoo!!! This puts an extra stress on me. I have to stay rested enough to drive them to practice. I am very fortunate, so many with balance issues like mine never relearn or even attempt to to relearn to drive. I forced myself!! I was not going to be homebound @ my age w/ young kids... not happening!!! Though I push to drive, I don't fool myself... no cross country trips, or road racing & trips to the mall are very infrequent & take days to recover.
But, the more I push through totoday, the more I wil be able to do tomorrow and the next day. :)
