A small dent

Tuesday, October 08, 2013

Even though I have been down and out with this congestion I am happy to report that I am down some more weight as of my Sunday weigh-in. I am at 209.4 lbs and I am super happy! Even though my workouts have consisted of light walking and lots of house work this past week it would seem my dietary changes have made some difference. I hope to be able to take up at least the strength training again later this week or maybe postpone it to next week if it proves to be too much.

At least I am no longer coughing up as much phlegm as I was last week and the coughing is basically gone. We have been having lots of stews and soup this past week and I think that has been helping. They were all home made by me so at least they were healthy and not something out of a can.

On a happier note my little boy started pulling himself up night before last. And in two days he will be 9 months old!! He is moving right along developmentally. He wants to chase after his older sister (4.5 years old) so darn bad! It won't be long now before he starts walking if he keeps practicing. Oh my are we in for it then ^_^ Love watching my littles growing up. But at the same time I wish I could keep them little forever.

Feel better! I bet your kids are adorable! I have nieces and nephews that age they're so fun when they go through all those milestones. Get some rest and get healthy!

I'm glad you're feeling a bit better! All those little steps you take add up! (and I firmly believe that house work should be considered aerobic exercise :) )

Congratulations! Please listen to your body and be patient. It's so much better than a set back. Enjoy the kids!
