A crown

Monday, October 07, 2013

Hi there Sparkers.
I was fitted for a crown yesterday - not that kind of crown, the dental kind, & because my dentist had to move due to our recent earthquake, he didn't have the equipment to finish the whole thing at once. So I have to go back. Here is how I felt yesterday
I was a bit shocked and sorry for myself last night but feel OK now. I'm sure part of it is my lovely dentist who pours positive reinforcement into my, by necessity, receptively open mouth.

You have wonderful fillings, he says, you have had some great dental work done in the past, it is in perfect condition, your teeth are strong and healthy, you are doing a great job of maintaining them, you came in just at the right time to get this done, this is going to look great, it went really well, you have made this so much faster and easier by being so relaxed, well done.
He is a treasure and I guess really, worth the money. Stonking though it is for a crown.

I have too many crowns as I destroyed teeth over the years.
I was an ice chewer, good brusher and pre-fluoride kid.
I am now a queen from al my crowns!
As someone else said, good teeth, healthy teeth are important. I may have crowns but they work!

Great you're getting your Crown, but you could just about Crown him for the dental charges, eh! Geez, they don't come cheap these days.

Still, I hope he does a good job on you and after the treatment is complete, you don't have to visit for a long time. Give you a chance to save up the $$ again, eh. emoticon
