Wicked Weekend

Sunday, October 06, 2013

Yeah, I thought I'd try continuing the alliteration. I don't know how much longer this can last though.

Yesterday, the Trojans won (barely)! Also, the Scarlet Knights won! So it was a good day. I walked to and from the stadium with my parents and we sweated profusely because it was a noon start on a pretty warm/humid day. Luckily, we had a little bit of a breeze. I got a little sunburned though. We've had so little sun this summer (yes, I still consider it summer here) that I haven't pulled the sunscreen out from the back of the cabinet. So it never occurred to me to put some on for the game. Plus, we were supposed to have the pathetic excuse for a tropical storm roll in this weekend. Oh well.

After the game, we took down a tree in the front yard, so I got in some got exercise with that. Maybe I'll post pics and more details on that later.

Today was a lazy day (we'll call it a rest day). After lunch with some friends, we came home and the hubbs slept most of the afternoon while I tried to catch up on some reading. I swear, if I had a stationary bike, I could get some serious cardio done while reading. I just don't know where we'd put it.

Tomorrow is Monday again. I have 2 Pilates classes tomorrow. (Maybe, my evening Pilates student said she won't be there, so that class may get cancelled unless I get a new student.) We're doing Cardio Pilates tomorrow. So that should be fun! Also, I have 3 dance classes (Level 2 Ballet/Jazz, Pre-Ballet/Tap, and Level 1 Jazz). So it should be a thoroughly exhausting day.

I have wanted a recumbent bike to read and exercise on. The upright stationary bikes have uncomfortable seats that hurt after awhile.
