Reality Check....not so good!!

Sunday, October 06, 2013

Well I just looked at my reports over the last year (since 10/10/12) and it is not so pretty!! emoticon I have gained on most measurements and a 24 lb. weight gain (ouch that hurt to say!) emoticon

So it is time for me to reevaluate things and really get serious. So today so far I have done some strength training..........only 11 minutes worth but it is a start! I am also gonna go for a walk and mow the lawn! I need to set some workout goals for the rest of the week. My refrigerator is very bare and payday isn't until next Friday emoticon so I will have to watch portions as most everything in the cupboard is a bit fattening right now!

(Pause) Well I just double checked the cupboards and I fibbed! emoticon There are a dozen cans of progresso soups (light version) so I have at least one healthy meal a day! Oh and look there....oatmeal, some canned fruit and veggies!! emoticon Not the absolutely best choices but better than the potato chips and cookies that have been a constant and daily choice lately! emoticon

Onward and downward to us all!!!! Charge forward!!! emoticon

Draw a line under it. Dwelling on it won't help. You've had a rough year and should cut yourself some slack.
I know you have a busy schedule like I do and trying to balance it all can be a nightmare. I've treated myself to a couple of Leslie Sansone DVDs as the nights are starting to draw in. At least with those I can get the equivalent to a couple of miles in after work if nothing else.
Small steps Hun, a little change each week will get you there.
