Motivation For The Week

I walked for over an hour today! The trees are beautiful this time of year. They are a mix of green, yellow, orange and red. It was perfect weather for a walk too. It was cloudy and well below 70.
Currently, I'm watching an amazing documentary on powerlifting. It so motivating to see the strongest men and women tell their stories. I don't know if I'll ever get to that level, but I've decided on competing in a local meet next year. I'm aiming for a total event (squat, deadlift & bench press.) I'm hoping that my legs and back will allow me to do all three.
My scoliosis has stayed stable, but my legs have gotten worse. I learned that I have arthritis in both hips, though I have yet to learn what kind. I'm praying that is only a mild form and that I can manage it with physical therapy. So now I just have to sit and wait until I hear back from the specialist on my next steps. I'm optimistic though, I'm not going to give up my on my goals.
