Day 10 Intermittent Fasting (IF) Journal

Stopped eating at 10:30 PM last night and had my 1st meal at 1:30 PM, a 15-hr IF. Exercise fasted: warm-up on treadmill walk 1 mi + elliptical 30 min (fairly hard effort) + strength training upper body 10 sets, 20 min, no breaks between sets. I felt okay and was only mildly to moderately hungry after exercising. Later at night, I went swimming for 1 hr with my husband and son. I burned 610 calories total and ate 1735 calories. Things continue to go well.

    Interesting, I"m going to read your other IF blogs! I've done a little IF in the past and found that it works well, and trains the body to be more flexible on fuel. The past few days, I've been doing some hard yard work in the morning after some coffee with cream, then eat a meal around noon. Saves time and seems to work out just fine. Even better if I drop a few pounds doing this!
