GRACE BRINGS RELIEF
We do a lot each day. Most of us have about 16 waking hours. Some have more. Some less. There is a lot going on every day. We have decisions to make. We have issues to deal with. We have things we conjure up in our heads that sometimes take control of our day. We get overwhelmed with it all when we don’t have to get overwhelmed. We simply need to remember in our laying down and our getting up, God’s grace is all we need. We need to take up our cross, our burdens, our worries and follow Him.
Ezra 9:8 ““But now we have been given a brief moment of grace, for the Lord our God has allowed a few of us to survive as a remnant. He has given us security in this holy place. Our God has brightened our eyes and granted us some relief from our slavery.” (NLT)
Dear Lord, we are so grateful that Your grace brings relief to us. Whatever we are a slave to in this world, You have relief for us. Help us today to stop the thoughts and actions that cause us to continue to be a slave to the things of the world. Help us today, Lord, to only focus on You and Your grace which can give us relief and give us peace. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
What’s the use in worrying when we have a God who wants to take all our worries away?
What’s the use in worrying when the things of this world will soon be gone and we will be with God for eternity?
What’s the use in worrying when God has everything under His control?
What’s the use in worrying when worrying doesn’t solve the problems?
What’s the use in worrying when we can give all our problems, our burdens and or worries to God?
Deuteronomy 11:16 “But be careful. Don’t let your heart be deceived so that you turn away from the Lord and serve and worship other gods.” (NLT)
