Back in the game

I went back to exercise yesterday after my off day. I still have sore muscles, but not as bad as before. Plus, I made better time on my walk yesterday than in previous days. So I'm thinking maybe the off day was good? It's hard to tell.

I also have been taking time off from the scale. The scale and I have had no encounters since Saturday. Tomorrow is my weigh in day, so I will break my anti-scale streak and try it again. I'm a bit nervous about it to be honest. Hopefully it will go well.

Yes, a day off is good. If you are doing strength training you are suppose to take a day off between in order to let the muscles recoop.
I started back exercising after a couple of months off (I cracked a rib and could not move). I am only exercising every other day. I am also trying to walk daily. It is recommended that one gets 10,000 steps in each day. I have not reached that goal again. I am starting out slow. My goal right now is 2000 to 3000 steps a day and work up to the 10,000.
