Back on the horse

Got my replacement Fitbit last monh and started weight, measurement, and steps tracking once again. After my dad died at the end of August, I went through a frenzied week of cleaning & organizing, afraid that if I didn't get things done it would hang over me and I would procrastinate, become overwhelmed by the amount of work, and console myself with eating. I managed to get a lot done, then took off for a few days in Jasper while the weather was hot and I could celebrate my birthday in the mountains. Annoyingly, I managed to injure my foot, which limited my hiking there, and is still nagging at me.

Today I am 5 lbs down from Sept 18, measurements also coming down. I'm a little frustrated with Spark and Fitbit, who aren't communicating as well as they should be. I've averaged 1795 calories a day this week (worked 5 12's, 3 of them nights), exercised only once on my workdays (on the day/night switchover) but did an aquaboxing class, a lifting one and a circuit training one, rode a recumbent bike and hula hooped while watching TV, for 4.5 hours of mixed cardio & strength training this week. Not so bad I guess, especially with a gimpy foot.
