The photo-a-day has me intrigued. So I decided to snap a picture of our luncheon. It was partly a svetfel meal (leftovers of turkey-veggie soup; applesauce/zucchini bread), but I did put together the halves of avocado with taboule and the "last" of our cherry tomatoes and poured the cider. emoticon
Can you believe this New England weather? Vegetables continue to ripen "on the vine" and stem. (Of course I did "cover up" with plastic bags on two nights when the frost skimmed our roofs). Maybe the tomatillos will make it after all.
Now that corn season has passed, we are into apples big time. Next week we'll go picking with family and enjoy more of the foliage. Here's a haiku I wrote this morning with photos from yesterday.
Leaf bouquet in gold,
Burnt orange, greens, red flames bright.
Sol bakes Autumn treat.

Enjoy! emoticon

Your luncheon looks to be straight out of a food magazine. It's my dinner time and your photo is making me salivate! emoticon

Your lunch is lovely - wonderful presentation!! I'm lucky if I haul out the "TV trays." Arranging my meal so that I could actually take a photo and show it - now that is true mindfulness. Gives me something to think about!!

And your trees are so gorgeous. I am a jealous Kansas friend!! We grow "scrub" out here on the prairie. It changes colors but not like that.

    Enjoy your fall!
