Making a Push for Fitober

I decided that I've been kind of lazy. So I'm pushing myself hardcore this month. I've laid out a plan that is better for me and hopefully will result in at least 6 pounds lost for this month. My dream goal is 10 pounds lost.
Here's the focus for each category:
Diet:
1. Every time I finish a bottle of water, I'm writing a number 1-5 and saving the cap in a tupperware container. At the end of the month, I hope to have 31 of each number 1-5.
2. Portion control is my food focus of this month. I'm taking what I want and cutting it in half. I love to eat and I love to overeat as a consequence. If I'm staring at half as much as still feeling satisfied, then it's a win-win.
Fitness:
1. Everyday fitness. I'm working out everyday... no excuses. I'm just doing it. I'll flip between strength and cardio... with a double-up day or two each week. I know I have the energy to do it. I always have.
Additional:
1. I'm doing the skinny jean challenge, so each day, I'm grabbing those 5 points to do just one simple, healthy for me thing. Plus, I own some leggings and skinny jeans that I'd like to look pretty fabulous in, :)


As an additional motivator/accountability measure, I'm posting up a couple "before" photos. There may not be a huge difference, but I want to hold myself accountable... and pictures are a good way to motivate yourself since you can see your changes. I'm doing 3 sets: 1 for today, 1 for the 15th (midway progression), and 1 for the 31st.




Wish me luck, and here's to hoping I come out of this month and little more fit and fabulous, :D

    I am starting a challenge today as well, from Oct 1- Dec 31. I was going to join the skinny jean challenge as well, but I saw the first challenge was the "booty exercises" and I don't think I'm flexible enough to do those without getting injured! If there was a challenge that focused only on cardio and daily motivational tips/tricks, I'd join!
    You seem focused and prepared.
    You've inspired me to take a "before" "during" and "after" pic to chart my progress, so thanks!
