Day 3 on Ideal Protein

Day 3: I'm feeling pretty good today. A bit hungry, but then again I'm always a bit hungry.
My diet was already low carb/low sugar so I think I'm adjusting pretty well. Advice for others, make sure in your first week that you can get to bed early. I'm falling asleep at 8:30pm no problem. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Very good news is I have absolutely no temptations and my stress levels are surprisingly low. I had gotten into the habit of drinking wine in the evening to releave the stress of the day. I don't really have the stress to releave this week. Was it the sugar in my diet making me over react? Or am I forcing myself to deal with stress in a better way because I know I don't have the crutch of my bottle of red wine?
What is ideal protein? It is a temporary way to get your body off sugar. You purposely go into Ketosis and burn fat. I have watched others go through this system and they look so healthy. I couldn't find a bad review online, so I decided to give it a try. At 41 years old with a super busy life I felt like I needed help. I was Einsteins theory of crazy, doing the same things over and over expecting a different result.
They make the system easy to understand and follow. They have prepackaged balanced meals that you mix with water and eat or drink. I am enjoying the morning omelette which I mix with water and cook. You eat tons of veggies at lunch. You have a protein + veg meal in the evening. No fruit, no dairy, no sugar in anything, some veggies are off limits. This is just until you reach your goal weight. Then they don't leave you. You have a coach and guidance through maintenance, for no extra money. I've paid the start up fees and that's it. Now all I pay for is food. The coach is free. There are also some supplements that make sure you have all the vitamins and minerals you need.
I have followed the Zone before so this is making sense to me. What has happened to me in the past few years is my work life is crazy +problems with stepson + fiance moved in (without stepson). This lead to me eating whatever I could find to stuff my face with. Plus fiance's bad habits were too tempting. I joined him in drinking beer! He doesn't gain weight but I sure did.
They warned that day 4 is the usual crash day when your body adjusts to not having sugar. My body will then burn fat for energy instead of sugar. So day 3 is OK. Day 4, we'll see tomorrow.
