Day 6 Intermittent Fasting (IF) Journal

Stopped eating at 8 PM last night and had first meal at 12:00 PM, a 16 hr IF. Mildly hungry when I began eating. Busy with an appointment and then caught up with mail and banking / investment tasks from 3-week vacation. Now need to catch up on work at my job. Better sleep last night. My only exercise was a 3.3 mi 1-hr walk. I ate 1420 calories. Been researching a lot of science around IF and many anecdotes of top trainers. Perhaps sometime I will expand on that --- the many thoughts behind IF and theories about why it works. All is well!

    I think the theory is that thru fasting, you take stress off your digestive system... primarily at nite, so that your body can divert that energy into other things, like repair.

    I'm not sure how it would impact blood sugar short or longer term... will have to do some reading later about it but I dont have time now!
