The Event was held at the Land Heritage Institute on the south side. We has 80 degree weather but it was humid and little breeze down in the trees.

The walk went by some Inca looking carvings and there were no explanations on how or why they were there.

We passed the remains of the Applewhite homestead. All we could see were the chimneys.

Part of the walk did get out in the open and we saw this nice hill.

The rain held off until we finished walking. We drove home in some pretty good downpours.

    Yes. I got caught in the rain when I visited my daughter at Prairie View. I too walked early yesterday along the beach. Amazing how nature is so mystic and glorious! Love it!
