Feeling Alone

Sunday, September 29, 2013

Last night I was feeling all alone in the world. I had spent the day doing built-up housework from the week and laundry. I hadn't gone out except to get the mail. I didn't talk to anyone except my husband who was sick and went to bed early. Oh I exchanged a few emails with my daughter and actually got one from my son, LOL. But no talking with anyone, not even a neighbor.

Then I looked at my blog from yesterday and saw how many people had taken the time to comment on my one little stab at getting back. I am not alone. I just have to get back to keeping that in mind.

You are never alone. You have wonderful YOU as a companion. Please treat yourself with kindness, the same way you'd treat a dear friend.

This community keeps me coming back. I may not be living a healthy lifestyle, not succeeding at weight loss, but the people here are fantastic. I care about them. That includes you!

That's right, even when we feel alone we never are, when you feel alone that's a good time to perk up your ears and listen for that still, small voice and what He's saying to you. He listens to us all the time, but He also likes us to stop and be still and listen to Him. Also we are always around too. Hope DH gets to feeling better.

Glad to see you back today, and hope that your DH is better. You're never alone for long on Spark - just take that first step and keep going.

You are right when you say that you are never alone! We all tend to feel that way at times, but just remember when no one else is around, and everything is silent, that is when God is speaking to your heart! emoticon emoticon emoticon
