Went to the Cookie Tree this morning to meet with a couple of other knitters - such fun!! Mina and Elaine are knitting Prayer Shawls. They give them to the Hospital and the shawls are given to cancer patients in the Cancer Center. They are so appreciated!!

I am still knitting socks for Christmas - have found a couple of patterns that are really fun and easy. Have 3 pairs finished - need to figure out how many pairs I should knit.

I have been wanting to do some quilting too, but do not have a place to put out my sewing machine right now. When I do some more socks, I may start doing some hand-pieceing to start. A favorite pattern i have been wanting to do is the Maple Leaf. I remember cutting out the pattern in a magazine when I was just a wee girl and have always want to make it. Maybe now is the time!!
