calories and exercise day 11

good day - but on an exercise note, my back feels on the verge of going out. I didn't expect this after months of exercise but I'm being very ginger with it today. Any words of advice? It's my thought that maybe my shoes are blown out - could that cause it? My core isn't ultrapowerful but it is certainly strong compared to when my back used to go out...

so! Calories yesterday: 1132 - I never understand when I go under. I actually ended up at 702 calories after dinner yesterday! I felt hungry, so I had some greek yogurt with frozen berries and all bran. Calories were still very low so I actually treated myself a little later to a glass of wine and some popcorn. I had a lot of salad and stuff so I guess that's why- plenty of protein but very low carbs until the end of the day.

Exercise yesterday - just the walk to and from school. Not that it isn't good exercise but I've come to see it as a given, and I feel like I missed out because there wasn't time to do anything else. I want to try to get to the gym today - and to get some new shoes!

    A little late, but I ditto the others. Shoes are mega important to back health. Exercises specifically for the back are good, but only after it is not feeling tweaky anymore. So ease up a little; I notice that you already got new shoes (good for you!) and I hope you tried them out 'gently'.

    So what color did you get? I have purple walking shoes with pink highlights (I like to stand out!).

    The shoes can DEFINITELY be the problem. My back sucks, and it used to hurt so bad I could barely move after walking around the grocery store for an hour. I always wore crappy shoes, and one day I wore good ones for some reason... and my back didn't hurt. So I would say definitely replace those sneakers!

    Do some back exercises, like bridges with a ball, hip abductors with a band, I find that helps but definitely take it easy. Good luck!
