WHY IS IT?

Jesus said He came not to condemn the world but to save it. So why is it that we are so quick to condemn others? (John 3:17) Jesus showed love to those who others would not love. So why is it that we are so quick to ignore the needs of others? (John 13:34-35) Jesus came to share God’s message with all people. So why is it that we continue to go day by day without sharing God with our family, friends and coworkers? The people we see every day. (Mathew 28:19) Because of God’s mercy, we are not getting what we deserve when we do wrong. That should be motivation enough to follow the steps of Jesus. So why is it that we aren’t?

Psalm 86:15 “But you, O Lord, are a God of compassion and mercy, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, thank You for being a God of compassion and mercy. Thank You for being slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love and faithfulness. Thank You for sending Your son to save the world, to love the world and to share Your message with the world. Help us today to do the same and stop making excuses. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

If we want to live like Jesus, we have to stop judging and condemning others.

If we want to live like Jesus, we have to stop ignoring the needs of others.

If we want to live like Jesus, we have to begin sharing God’s word with others.

If we want to live like Jesus, we have to begin starting our day with God.

If we want to live like Jesus, we have to be ready and open to hear God’s voice and open the door to let Him in.

Revelation 3:20 “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends." (NLT)
