OMG...yes, I have been MIA, that's how busy we are! Anyway, if you have had a glance at my ticker on my page, you'd see a big difference between what was last there and what is there now. This is due to my new scales that I have recently purchased and just received off the boat. Apparently, my old scales were giving me false readings and I'm totally gutted about it. My new scales are very accurate because it cost me an arm and a leg and can be used to weigh luggage as well.

I'm happy that I've still maintained a loss of 5kgs, but I've regained 5kgs through the scale readings and its depressing...BUT...that's not going to put me down, no way, its just made me more determined to get up off my butt and do more than what I have been the last couple of weeks and refocus on my goals, eating and exercises.

I am positive that I can do this before the challenge ends. I need that colonic, and I'm aiming for it in November, so that's just a month away.

Right, I'm going to get on that bike now!!!

You are really doing well. There will be tired and hungry days to trip you up but you are working through that and will be stronger and healthier as a result. You are doing all the right things so give yourself a little reward this weekend, either a special fruit or a bit of pampering, you choose!

I'm going to my favourite place today with my favourite people, bliss!

I totally understand what you are talking about. Accuracy in weight is a must. I have a scale at home and some moments it weighs right and other days it doesn't. But I do have a medical scale at work that seems to be accurate as it coinsides with my doctor's scale, so I am going with that one, lol!!! Glad you found one that may be more suitable.

New scales are a mixed blessing. It's nice to have accurate ones at home but then you go fo a drs appt and the scale reads differently again. We all like to see the numbers go down but the drs are more concerned with the general trend than the actual number.

So, almost 5 weeks, well done for staying on course.

I love your positive attitude. emoticon I hate scales I really do. A lot of people who say that weigh themselves every day but I don't and boy when I was it would drive me crazy. Up and down up and down. Now I ONLY weigh myself once a week for weigh in day. Everyone on Spark iss really right about judging progress based on other things (fitness level, how you feel, how your clothes fit) Keep on keeping on my lovely friend. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I have an old "health" scale. It cost me $20 which I got on ebay. I guess it would cost a lot if I hadn't gotten it in ebay about 8 years ago. (LOL).

What I noticed is that in different rooms, I weigh differently. The hilarious part: I go with the lowest weight. HEhehehe!! XD

Think of it this way, you're steady with your fitness routine! That's awesome!
    It's great! It's a really big accomplishment!
