25 pounds down!

Wow, I haven't been out here since July! As of this morning, I am down 25lbs and into the 170's! I am so excited, this was completely unattainable in my eyes just 3 months ago when I started the Trim Healthy Mama lifestyle.

My 2nd weight loss goal was to be out of the obese category & into overweight by 9/30. I will miss that, as it's still 10lbs away, but that's ok. I'll be hitting it soon enough. That will also mark the 1/2 way point in my weight loss journey.

This is the first plan to have given me hope. I truly believed I was destined to be fat and unhealthy (and ugly, in my mind) for the rest of my life...and I am not even 40 yet! I'm feeling so good, can't wait to break into the 160's and see what the next 3 months hold!

    I never cook anything separate for my family, although they can have extras that I won't have, since I still have lots to lose. I may have brown rice/quinoa, while they may have mashed potatoes. We have the same main dish and lots of veggies. My husband is enjoying it, and is trying to get on plan 100%, or at least closer to 100% than he is now! He doesn't have much to lose...maybe 10-15lbs, but that could be pushing it, too!

    I just picked this book up at the library. Love reading your update! Can I ask - is everyone in your family eating on plan? I have teens and wonder if it's do-able with them.
