A walk and half the sugar

I am so happy I decided to finally try Chobani plain. I don't know why that took me 2 years and I'm sure eating that amazing Greek yogurt from the Farmer's Market helped with the motivation. The plain has only 2 ingredients, fat free milk and cultures which is the perfect start. The plain has 20 fewer calories than vanilla saving me 140 calories every week, and 6 grams less sugar saving me 42 grams every week. This is good news. Now to go shopping and stock up on plain Chobani.
Yesterday I got out on that lunch walk again for 2.65 miles. It was beautiful and I have my sneakers on for another walk today. I have 9 days left to work at this assignment so I want to try and lunch walk every nice day of those 9. I sneak my sandwich just before I go and then head out during the assigned time. The weather is amazing this week so every day I must get out and walk.
After work I want to get a few quick errands run, milk and more lunch stuff for the rest of the week. I need to have a light dinner and I need to get back to my Body Conditioning class with Gathan at the YMCA on Tuesday's, tonight would be a good night to go. Tomorrow with no errands to run I should do a 5K week 3 workout and then I have the evening free to be social and go to Irish music night. Last time I went, magic happened and I'd like to repeat that. I know I'm skipping a Yoga class, but I need to develop my social life as well as my muscles and Irish music night bring a lot of friends and new friends out every week.
I prayed for another quiet day at work and so far so good. Three more hours and then I'll be out for my beautiful walk. I have the free "Sports Tracker" app which has the best GPS I've used so far for tracking my workouts. I highly recommend it. Set up a quick account and it will also sync with an online 'diary' of your workouts. The Spark fitness tracker is more conservative with the calories we burn then this app is, but I like that on Spark. I'd rather overestimate calories eaten and underestimate calories burned. It does't take much effort to enter my workout into Spark.
I'm still getting used to having everything reset, but I am enjoying the fresh start and fresh look. I have to stick to brutally honest food tracking and see just where the dangers are. I'm in a bit of shock seeing just how over my budget I've been going. Yes, I must remember to make that cup of tea, especially now that the weather might truly be changing and tea will be that much more welcome.
Just think a year ago I was in grad school 4 nights a week and hitting up that great college gym every day as well. I remember packing that gym bag every night and having clothes to change into and shower stuff, I remember trying to figure out how to eat and how happy I was to land in a school that was on the same street as the college, they literally shared a fence. I remember how wonderful it was to have access to that parking lot all week and all year. I started that year happy and on track too. I also think I was exposed to enough students last year by now to have gotten sick already. I remember getting really sick in the beginning of the year. With less exposure I'll stay healthier this year. I'll be going to my gym this year every day and enjoying the beautiful weather in the afternoons. What I'd like to do is get a swim cap and add swimming workouts again to my routine. When I first joined the gym the pool was the big push for me and I get an amazing workout in that pool. The boys can have a more flexible feeding schedule in the evenings I don't have use that as an excuse.
I honestly think I'm going to be okay. Thank you again for the support during this reset and rebuilding period.
