The Color Run 5k - Ventura, CA - Oct 19, 2013

Tuesday, September 24, 2013

Anyone interested in joining me for this event? It looks like big fun!!! Not only that, we get $5 off the event fee if we have a team of 4+.

I'm not a runner, but I can jog/walk or walk depending on who I'm with. 5k = 3.1 miles, that is totally do-able!

Oh, I do hope you get a team of Sparkies together! How fun!
My only 5K hopes for this year is a Glow in the Night run. It's like a color run but with glow in the dark colored powder! We can wear glow sticks and necklaces and they have black lights so your white clothes are glowing purple and the chalk glows neon.
I'll be looking for photos of you covered with color next month!

Sounds like fun. I haven't been up that way for years. The Painted Turtle near me is having a bike ride fund raiser the same day. I'm hoping to take pictures of the day. I hope the weather is nice for both of us! emoticon
