Slow and Steady Wins the Race

I have to keep reminding myself to forge ahead, permanent weight loss will be realized over time. The weight is coming off, but more slowly than in the past. Sometimes it's disappointing, but I've lost weight quickly before only to gain it back and then some. I have to remember it took me 25 years to accumulate the extra baggage, so if it takes a couple years to get rid of it (for good), then so be it. I'm a sucker for instant gratification, so this is a battle I will continually have to fight. Thank goodness for Spark People.

    Yes we have to get pushing for our goal even when it seems to take FOREVER !! I have 100 pounds to lose and have only lost 8 but I know I could be going more to make it come off faster emoticon I will keep trying and soon my motivation will kick in and I will feel more pressed to do more. I walk and do 150 stairs before work each morning. I also refuse to eat or drink empty cals. ! I am going to make it and so will you !! emoticon
