Ugh another Monday

Monday, September 23, 2013

Today I'm looking for some support in staying motivated. Went to bed Sunday night very unsettled.
Woke up this morning not very focused. Tried talking my self out of walking. Sat for 15 minutes thinking of every reason why I shouldn't get out the door an walk. Finally decided just do it, do not think about. I ended up walking 1 mile emoticon However once home I'm still unsettled. I know by tonight I will regret now staying on track. However I can only think what could I eat. Oreos, strudel that's on the counter. Something good to eat to complete this pity party
Anybody have any ideas how to get over this slump. emoticon

It's been five days since this blog, I hope you are feeling more energized and less vulnerable to foods we know we should not have but want anyway. If you have a juicer, making a sweet (no sugar) fruit smoothie is sometimes a soother, plus giving you vitamins and energy. I am drinking a strawberry/grape one right now. Yes, I would love to be having a mocha java (hence my user name) but this is tasting mighty good. Hang in there we are here for you.
I am pretty sure I added you to my friends list (yep, just looked it up) you can write to me at my reg. address if you would like. Inglimab@gmail.com
Get those Oreos and the strudel out of your sight.
Hang in there you will make it. You have others who are wanting you to succeed!

Great job on just doing it anyways! That may be the best way to get through this slump is make yourself just do it anyways. Maybe treat yourself to something that is a little bit of a comfort food but only by eating something healthy as well? Like my trick is if I am really in a slump-- I can have a starbucks but MUST get a Venti Ice Water to go with it. Not sure if that will work for you. Hope the slump passes soon
