“Fall has always been my favorite season. The time when everything bursts with its last beauty, as if nature had been saving up all year for the grand finale.” ~ Lauren DeStefano

I enjoy fall but feel the sadness of it. It is good due to the harvest and the foods that are reaped from Mother Earth but also sad with everything dying back to await the spring's coming! What is your thoughts on fall? And thank you all for your comments as you share with me.

I like the fall and I liken winter to Sleeping Beauty. For without the dormant months many of our plants and trees would not survive. Whenever we get snow (I love winter as long as it's cold and sunny) I think how that melting snow will nourish next spring's growth.

I love the fall. Of course we don't have the beautiful leaves down here like up north. We have palm trees. I was also born in the autumn.

Love the quote, girl! I love fall with the cooler weather, and changing of the leaves. It does make me sad when the leaves fall off, but ready to face a new season, and grateful I am here to be able to enjoy it. Thank you for all the inspiration you bring, my friend. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

I love the changing colors of the leaves during fall. The toughest time I have with fall is knowing that winter is right on falls doorstep to take over. To me winter seems to drag on forever.

Fall arrived like a steam engine last night- it's the first time in months that we've been below 70 degrees!

Perhaps it would help to remind yourself that the trees, flowers, plants, grass, and all of nature isn't dying, it's just going into a different state of being. Nature is hibernating for the winter like bears and other animals. Just like animals, they will get a nice long rest so they can come back stronger and brighter than ever in spring. It is nature's way.

One of my favorite seasons. Lots of colors, and I find a lot of bare Trees interesting without the leaves. Good shapes to be enjoyed. Also we have a few birds that leave, migrate down south, and others come to our yard because our winters are not as harsh. Of course, I can be happy, Spring comes earlier for us then where you live. emoticon

I enjoy the Fall season with it's cooler temperatures, beautiful colors and a fresh smell in the air. It also makes me sad because it's a reminder that the days will be shorter with less sunshine and the night will appear earlier with all the darkness.

I adore and love autumn. It is nature in all its splendour and abundance. The weather is stable, unlike spring. I see winter as a time of rest, so I don't feel sad, I think it is well deserved.

    Hi Eileen,

Overall I love fall because the weather is still warm but now cooler so that we can sleep easier without air conditioning but still go out in short sleeve shirts during the day. I also love the changing leaves, they look so beautiful!!! But I do feel a little sadness that the days are getting shorter and after the beautiful coloring all of the leaves shrivel up and die. So 80% love it, and 20% miss the summer!
