Cake for Breakfast!

Yup, you read that correctly, I just had cake for breakfast! We celebrated our CEO's birthday this morning, and since I hadn't had my breakfast yet, I had a piece of cake!
Cake for breakfast? It has eggs, wheat, milk...all the important food groups! HA! Seriously though, I realize it's not a healthy breakfast. But in the past, I would have eaten my normal breakfast, had the cake for "Dessert", gone out for a fattening lunch with the girls, and then ordered take-out for dinner. (It's Friday, after all!) Oh, and exercise wouldn't even be in the equation.
I skipped my breakfast, and had the cake instead. I logged the calories, and am planning a healthy lunch. I worked out 4 out 5 days this week, with more walking planned for the weekend. Dinner may still be take-out, but now I pick lighter options, fill up on the soup and leave the rest for my husband to take for lunch during the week.
I'm planning to eat Funnel Cake this weekend at the fair. Of course, I split it with my family, and we'll be doing a TON of walking!
So yes, I had cake for breakfast! But I'm still on track and making those ever so important lifestyle changes! I'm doing this! I'm REALLY doing this!
