Still Alive

Friday, September 20, 2013

It has been a long time since I have logged into SP and a LOT has changed and happened in our life.

End of June, we made a huge move, ,a whole 55 miles LOL south, to a little town in the foothills of the cascade mountains smack dab in the middle of Mt Rainier and Mt St Helens. We are absolutely THRILLED with the decision! Our new house that we are buying is for the most part great. There have been a few minor things that have had to be fixed so far, but that's what you expect when you buy an old Logger home that needs some TLC. We have a beautiful home on half an acre. Our little town does have a grocery store and a hardware store. Our elementary school is SO BIG that there is only one classroom per grade K-6 emoticon Our population is only about 1300 people.

We had to end our gym membership with the move, but that has been a blessing in disguise. My back issues have gotten bad again, to the point that some days I can barely walk; but there are other days where I get around well enough to be assistant coach for my daughters soccer team. 2 nights a week of practice and 1-2 games per week. Thankfully, we have the next 2 weeks off from games so I can try to mend a bit. We are still eating decently and I am still getting a little exercise. I wish I could say that I have maintained through the last few months, but I haven't. However, I have only gained back 10 pounds of the 90 pounds that I had lost. I'm happy with that.

I have moved into a wonderful congregation as well. Our heavenly Father continues to take care of my family, physical and spiritual. I will try to get active again real soon, thank you for the notes asking how I am doing.

That's great. Before we lived here, we lived in a tiny rural town. The school held K - 12.

Great to hear you are somewhat doing well. You will have to post some pictures of the new home when you get a chance. Small towns are great. We live in a small town also. 139 people up in the mountains of Idaho.

Will be praying for healing of your body and for the family also.

    God Bless
