The trench for the brick walk is dug!! Praise the Lord!! What a job! Honey came down to watch the last few feet come out. Now I will call for the gravel and in another week or so the project will be finished. I have the young man coming back in a week or two and we'll work on clearing brush and building the pseudo well.
Worked directly with the doctor today instead of triage. It's a challenge! I don't know what I'll be on tomorrow. Heard that we had lost a large amount of clinic nurses..retiring, quitting, moving to other positions...so we're short staffed again. It's all going to be okay. I applied for 2 more vacations today and was granted both. So I look forward to getting my head back together over the next few weeks. Guess that sounds silly...but I take it as I can get it.
Looked at my weigh in last night and didn't gain as much as I thought I did...so still on track and looking up!! Got in almost 2 hours with the shovel and pushing dirt tonight..so it's all in the way we balance life.
