not happy

Tuesday, September 17, 2013

took advantage of the good vacation weather and my husband's supportiveness and we walked and walked and walked some more thursday, friday and saturday. I was sure that would finally help move the numbers on the scale, but nope. nada. nuthin. zip zero zilch. it stayed the same. emoticon

I really have to read the DASH Diet book more carefully and figure out what I am missing in phase two. If it weren't for Sparkpeople and the encouragement of the friends I am making here I am sure I would have gone someplace other than the farm stand on my way home from work. I came home with 3 giant yummy tomatoes, fresh green beans and some honeycrisp apples. and after checking in here I am resolved to do better.

You are so much more than a number on the scale. Keep going! You can do this! emoticon

Don't let that darn scale bring you down. Are you feeling good? Do you have more energy? How are your clothes fitting? Glad it was the farm stand and that you made good choices. Keep tracking your food and keep moving. The scale will catch up. Keep that PMA going! (POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE) emoticon emoticon emoticon

The best part is that the scale didn't go the other way. I've realized through my own weight loss journey and I'm still on it, especially since I've gained 10 of those pounds I had loss and I was 5 pounds away from my goal weight, that a scale that doesn't move down is better than a scale moving up. Keep doing what you're doing. Stick to it. Stay positive. Good luck! emoticon
