Busy, Busy, Busy

So we are moving the last weekend of October. I have next week off to start packing, fun, fun, fun.

Since we are moving 45 minutes from my job I am looking for a new job closer to the new apartment. I've had a few interviews, including one I was convinced I had inn the bag. I gave up on that one after a 3 day game of telephone tag. I emailed her, but she never replied. Oh well.

This weekend I sent out four resumes. I had one quasi-interview today. I have an interview on Wednesday, and the other two places called wanting to set up interviews.

My supervisor knows I'll be leaving, but thought it would be closer to the end of the year. I think I'll have to talk to her tomorrow. I believe in being honest, and I don't want to leave her in a lurch.

Three of these positions come with insurance so I hope to officially get tested for celiac. Giving up gluten has made such a difference that I'm afraid to eat it, but I would still like an official diagnosis.

The wildlife sanctuary has switched to it's winter hours. I feel like I was barely there this year and now my after work walks are over. I am doing the walk for wildlife on Saturday and have next week off of work so I will have a few more chances to get my fill. That's one good thing about the new place - a workout room with a treadmill. I've never used a treadmill, but it can't be too hard to figure out.

    Good luck with your interviews.

Best wishes on the interviews. As you're packing consider weeding out anything that can be thrown away, given away, or easily sold. That will help so you have less to pack and unpack. Also, if you're going to rent a moving truck, I would advise against using uhaul. I've moved several times in the past few years and before my first big (to another state) move I researched companies, and uhaul has a bad rep. So just a little fyi for you.
