Weekend roundup

Monday, September 16, 2013

I can't believe that I haven't blogged since the beginning of August. That is just craziness to me.

Lately I have been in a super funk. Work has been hellacious. I have been running my butt off. But not literally because I eat all the freaking time because of all the running so I am not losing weight (which is frustrating but whatever). Things have just been so up in the air and so much stuff to figure out. I'm exhausted.

But the end of last week things started to change around and my attitude toward stuff has gotten better. I know my attitude has not been helping my cause at all.

So here is to a new week! I tweaked my knee falling down a hill this weekend so I took today off from running. I'm icing it at work and hopefully for my run Wed it will be good. Or at least feel better. I have yoga tomorrow.

I wanted to share some pics from the last few weeks...
Hope came over last Friday and we had dinner, went to the park and hung out at my house. We had lots of fun

This is Meow, looking so much better :)

My dad went to the football game with me Saturday. We had lots of fun

We met up with my oldest nephew who goes to school at Iowa State now. So proud of him

Sunday I went with Hope to A Day with Thomas the Train. She had so much fun

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Hoping for a better Monday :)

    How'd I miss this!? Grrr

I can't believe how big Hope is now. There's nothing like kids to make you feel old and she's not even my niece! LOL

Hope the rest of the week has gone better!

Just remember we can't control what happens to us but we can control how we react. Stay positive, and remember to enjoy the journey!
