Sleepy Weekend

Sunday, September 15, 2013

It has been nice to be off all weekend. But, I've been so sleepy! I feel like I didn't get all that I want accomplished, but I'm focusing on the fact that it wasn't a complete bust.

Youngest son had his first flag football game yesterday. It was a beautiful day to enjoy it. They lost but he had so much fun, he didn't care.

Today has been lazy. But I did get some miles in. I also found Body Rock tv. They have a beginner workout program that they send a link to each day to your email. It didn't look all that hard, but it really was! I felt nauseous and my heart was really racing. I think the fact that I barely slept this weekend made it worse. I fell asleep after on the couch snuggled up the hubs as he watched football.

I got an email from my cousin that she bought me a subscription to fitness magazine, for no other reason then she loves me. How great is that? We are only 4 months apart in age, and grew up close. She lives about an hour away now, so we don't get to see each other much anymore. But, I sure cherish her. While I'm on vacation in October I plan on spending time with her and my dear sister. They are both on sparkpeople and I'm so proud of them.

Back to work tomorrow, for three in a row then another 3 day weekend! I don't get much outside exercise in on my work days but I wear my pedometer. I'm hoping to get 8 more miles in this week.

Hope everyone had a great weekend and is ready to tackle Monday!
