So it's Sunday, which means that I should already have my lessons plans uploaded and everything graded, but I decided to enjoy myself this weekend and slacked off a bit with responsibility. I am okay with this choice right now, but tomorrow might be another story!
And I'll write a quick entry even though I have a number of other things I should be doing. I have been eating according to plan since last Thursday (the last entry) thankfully! I guess I am a little motivated by the desire to meet my first goal.
I have been eating more keto cups than I planned, however. I made a double batch and ate it in three days. Oops! They are sooo yummy though, and the carbs aren't that bad.
I went to the beach yesterday, hooped some, walked some, relaxed lots. I ate two delicious salads. Then today, I biked 8 miles on a great trail nearby with my boyfriend. I love that he's so active. He golfed yesterday, biked today, and had a softball game later in the day. He keeps me motivated!
Anyway, we rewarded ourselves after our bike ride with a huge two pound salad, which we split. I still haven't quite figured out how to eat proportionately, but this is a work in progress.
I know that I haven't eaten to the point of throwing up since I last wrote, which is an achievement.
I decided that I want to do a juice fast before the end of the year. I believe in the health benefits of fasting and I also think it is really great in terms of self discipline. I want to break away from my food addictions. I haven't even made it through one day of not eating in years though, so I think I'm going to have to work my way up to a goal of seven days. Mikey has a juicer I can use.
And that's about it! My kombucha is still brewing. I'll probably have it ready as a reward for weigh in on Thursday! This week, I want to go to the gym at least twice. I will shoot for tomorrow and Wednesday. :)
