Well, the dogs let us sleep until 6:30, so that wasn't too bad. ;-) Would have been nice to sleep till 7:30 like Kate did though!

I really didn't want to do any exercise today, but by the time I finished breakfast Bam-Bam was seriously restless, and of course I knew I needed to get moving after two days off exercise, so I took her for a 40-min walk. Then I spent a couple hours doing a serious clean on Kate's room. YIKES! The cleaning lady does the basics every week, but holy cow, I couldn't believe the dust bunnies, dirt, and sand (?!) that had collected beneath and behind all the furniture. Oy. I did everything but her closet, ran out of steam there. I was laughing when I looked at my FitBit when I took it off to get in the shower - only 6,000 steps at that point of the day (1pm), but 1300 cals burned!!!

I got a little exercise in yesterday since I walked over to school and back to get Kate, actually ended up over 9k for the day even though I didn't do much else. :-)

This afternoon we hit Home Depot for a few things. I'm going to rip out the remains of the petunias tomorrow morning and replace them with chrysanthemums, we picked up some pretty fall colors. Then we dropped Kate off at a birthday party, then we headed to the grocery store, then came home and unloaded and I cleaned up the kitchen, which I hadn't dealt with all day. Now Paul is working on dinner and soon we'll head over to pick her up. It's a pool party, and I suspect they'll have wine or beer in the adult cooler, so we may hang out for a bit! ;-)

Well, the dryer is done so I guess I'd better go deal with laundry. Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

    Getting a lot of calorie burn, even if the steps don't show it! I didn't hit my 12k step 'goal' (often don't) but I did 20 floors (that means going up and down hills -- it's the Ozarks!) a couple of times. Ha!
